The Morton Arboretum, located in Lisle, Illinois, is a public garden and outdoor museum with a library, herbarium, and tree research program, including the Center for Tree Science. Its 1,700-acre (6.9-square-kilometer) grounds comprise catalogued collections of trees and other living plants, gardens, and restored areas, including a restored tallgrass prairie.
